Featured tee time for Round 1
The last time we saw Scottie Scheffler on the golf course (not counting the U.S. team’s victory at the Presidents Cup), he was hoisting the FedEx Cup trophy after finishing the Tour Championship on top, a feat that earned him a $25 million bonus.
In all, Scheffler took home seven PGA Tour wins in 2024, all of which were pre-empted by his win at the 2023 Hero World Challenge last December. Now the World No. 1 is back in the Bahamas to defend his title at Tiger’s tourney.
On Thursday, Scheffler will tee off in the penultimate pairing at 12:14 p.m. ET alongside Sahith Theegala.
You can watch Thursday’s first round of the 2024 Hero World Challenge on Golf Channel starting at 1:30 p.m. ET, or you can stream featured group coverage via PGA Tour Live on ESPN+. You can also stream a live simulcast of the first round via NBCSports.com or the NBC Sports App with an active cable subscription.
