FLINT, Mich. (WNEM) – Two people were sentenced after pleading guilty to conducting a gambling operation without a license.
The Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB) said 52-year-old Linos Antonia Kas-Mikha, of Grand Blanc, and 55-year-old Robert Jamerson, of Saginaw, pleaded guilty in October after they were found to be involved in operating Cellular Bank, a Flint storefront casino that was located at 4622 N. Saginaw Street.

Three other felony charges were dismissed against both Kas-Mikha and Jamerson as part of their guilty pleas, including two counts of using computers to commit a crime and one count of maintaining a gambling house for profit.
Kas-Mikha was sentenced to 12 months of probation and ordered to pay $1,448 in fines, fees, and court costs.
Jamerson was also sentenced to 12 months of probation. He was granted three days of jail credit.
Felony warrants were issued for Kas-Mikha and Jamerson after authorities found 11 standalone slot machines and 13 computers used for slot-style games at Cellular Bank, the MGCB said, adding the business was also giving customers cards with PINs that would allow them to gamble from offsite locations.
