Meet Dusky Lynn Hall – a 10-year-old barrel racing superstar from Huntsville, Texas, who has already earned $1million by beating riders twice her age. Last month, Dusky Lynn walked away with over $123,000 in earnings and two championship titles at The Breeders Challenge Finale in Fort Worth, Texas, riding three different horses. Barrel racing is a rodeo event during which a horse and rider attempt to run a pattern around barrels in the fastest time – and the prizes are huge. And Dusky has been at it since aged three – and now rides fives or six horses every day, to master the nail-biting twists and turns needed to compete against the best adult riders in the world.
