10 gambling machines seized in latest HPD illegal game room crackdown
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – The Honolulu Police Department is continuing its crackdown on illegal game rooms.
Last week, officers seized 10 gambling machines, cash, a ski mask, and a ghost gun from an establishment in Waianae.
HPD, Homeland Security crack down on illegal game room landlords with new law
Officials said the firearm had a high-capacity 30-round magazine.
HPD’s Narcotics-Vice Division, the Crime Reduction Unit, and the Specialized Services Division executed the search warrant.
