Don’t just sit back and expect good things to come your way – get out into the world and create new opportunities for yourself. On the financial front, especially, you will get the chance to increase your earning power, IF you act on your ideas.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

You may be inclined to reject a promotion because you secretly fear you are not up to the job but that is a very poor excuse for turning it down. Even if you are not quite at the required level yet you will learn rapidly while doing the job.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

The most important thing this weekend is that you stick up for yourself when you come in for criticism. If other people get the idea that they can say what they like without you answering back they will take that as an invitation to do it even more.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

If others seem determined to drag their feet this weekend the best thing you can do is leave them behind and do what has to be done by yourself. Time is precious and you are under no obligation to waste it on people who don’t share your ambition.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

If you have been too cautious over the past few weeks you will go right the other way now that mind planet Mercury is moving into the most dynamic area of your chart. Remember, while you cannot do everything at once you can do something. Do it now!

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

Whatever fights and feuds may be going on between your friends and relatives you must have nothing to do with any of it. On the home front, especially, avoid people who seem determined to look on the negative side all the time. It’s not healthy.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

Whatever it is you are currently working on you must put everything into it over the next 48 hours. The planets indicate that anything and everything you do will be a resounding success, so get on with it and don’t waste time looking back.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

If there is a chore of some sort that you are not looking forward to your best course of action by far this weekend will be to dive straight into it and get it done as quickly as possible. After that your time will be your own again.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

As mind planet Mercury moves into your sign this weekend you should find it easy to quit worrying about a personal matter that has been giving you sleepless nights. Almost certainly the situation will have fully resolved itself come Monday morning.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

Problem solving comes easy to you and if the route to a goal is blocked this weekend just use your big brain to find another way to get there that avoids the obstacles people have been putting in your path. Then look back and laugh at them.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

You may not want to be the centre of attention but a lot of eyes will be on you over the next 48 hours. Pretend you are not the least bit fazed that so many people are watching your every move – and try your best not to trip up!

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

If someone in a position of authority gives you a hard time this weekend try to be subtle in your response. If you are openly critical they may take it as a personal insult and strive to make life even tougher for you. You don’t need that.
