The moon moves through Scorpio and makes contact with easygoing Jupiter in the morning, which could leave you feeling torn between conflicting desires throughout the day, unsure of what to do next. By evening, however, Saturn arrives to bring some clarity. The conclusions you reach might not be as fun or exciting as you’d like, but ultimately, it’ll feel good to move away from vague expectations and toward an actionable plan.
You aren’t the sort of person who’s afraid to make big decisions; you know that you’ll do your best to choose wisely, and you’ll deal with any consequences as they arise. Sometimes, though, it gets exhausting to be faced with so many options. You wish that you didn’t always have to think so hard, or that life would slow down for a minute and give you a chance to catch your breath. Today, if you feel like you need more time before you commit to a path forward, take it.
You’re good at making new friends; people are drawn to your warm, steady energy. But while it might be easy to forge an initial connection, it takes longer to establish genuine trust. You hesitate to make yourself vulnerable or express yourself openly; it feels safer and more comfortable to keep things light. Today, though, see what happens if you open up. This could be the perfect opportunity to build the kinds of relationships that aren’t only fun, but will also provide meaningful support in the days ahead.
You tend to assume that if you’re not naturally good at something, it’s not worth trying — especially when there’s so much that does come easily to you. But today, have a little more faith in your ability to learn. If there’s a skill you’ve always wished you had, it isn’t too late to pick it up. You don’t need any innate talent; you might even feel clumsy at first. But you’ll be surprised how far you get when you simply put in some effort over time and expand your knowledge bit by bit.
Despite working steadily and diligently toward your dreams, you often feel like you haven’t made any real progress. It’s disheartening to feel that your efforts aren’t leading anywhere, and eventually you might begin to consider giving up. Sometimes, the answer is to keep pushing through the difficulties — but other times, what you need most is a break, or even a change in direction. You’re constantly growing and changing, and maybe it’s time to adjust your goals to match the person you’ve become.
Overall, you’re a good judge of character; your instincts are strong, quickly discerning between who to trust and who to be wary of. The trouble is that it’s easy to second guess yourself. If other people seem to like someone, you wonder whether you’re wrong to get bad vibes from them; if a person hasn’t actually done anything to earn your mistrust, you worry you’re being too harsh. Today, don’t assume that everyone else somehow knows better than you. Your gut often knows things your conscious mind might not, so listen to it.
You probably aren’t someone who often asks for help: You’re confident in your smarts, and you know you can handle practically any situation with grace and good sense. But just because you don’t need other people’s input, that doesn’t mean you wouldn’t benefit from it. As wise and capable as you are, you don’t know everything, so today, don’t be too proud to ask for advice. Your friends’ perspectives could be more valuable than you realize; when you’re facing an important decision, ask what they think.
In an ideal world, you’d always take the slow and steady route, managing projects step by step and completing everything on your to-do list before moving forward. In reality, however, that is rarely possible. Life moves too fast, and there’s often too much on your schedule to get to it all. Today could be a good time to revisit the tasks you previously had to rush through or skip over entirely. It’s not always possible to backtrack, but right now, at least some of your past mistakes will be fixable.
Some people always seem to overestimate themselves, moving through the world with a radiant, if unearned, self-confidence. You, on the other hand, do your best to stay grounded; the more honest you are about your gifts and your flaws, the better equipped you’ll be in the long run. The only problem with this mindset is that sometimes you give way too much emphasis to your weaknesses, and write off your strengths. Being realistic isn’t only about addressing your shortcomings; it also requires you to recognize where you shine.
In order to get what you want most, sometimes you have to sacrifice some of your less important goals; in order to stay true to your deeper principles, it can be — or at least seem — necessary to make smaller ethical compromises. But today, don’t be so quick to fold. Resolve to stay true to what you believe in. Flexibility has its uses, but there are times when it’s better to stand firm and be unyielding.
While you’re not afraid to take risks, you probably aren’t someone to do so only for the thrill of it. If you’re going to take a leap, it needs to be carefully planned and in service of a larger goal. Today, remember that your task isn’t to play it safe in every situation, or to remove every hint of danger from your life, but simply to be smart about it. Trust yourself to know when a risk is worth taking, and when it’s better to back away.
Don’t be surprised if you feel more pessimistic than usual. Your accomplishments up until now suddenly seem so meager, and the road ahead appears long and hard. Building a better world — or just a good life for yourself — has never seemed so daunting, and it would be easy to feel immobilized by the stresses and problems ahead. But remember that you don’t have to get to the finish line today, or even tomorrow. The most important thing is simply not to quit.
You’re strong enough to deal with virtually anything — but just because you can do it all, that doesn’t mean you should. You’ve got your limits, and you aren’t responsible for taking on every problem that crosses your path. Today, give yourself permission to say no and turn away from challenges instead of rising to meet them. It’s not because you don’t think you can handle it, but simply because you understand that you’re only one person and just doing your part is enough.
