Xiaomi, just a few months after launching the Smart Band 9 fitness bracelet, is preparing to unveil a new model – the Smart Band 9 Pro.
According to leaks, the design of the device has undergone minimal changes compared to its predecessor, the Band 8 Pro. The main difference is a slightly curved display instead of a flat one, as well as an improved strap with a clasp located on the edge, like the Apple Watch. The control button has retained its usual shape.
A noticeable change is a matte body instead of a glossy one, as well as a larger display with narrow bezels. The Band 9 Pro is expected to be available in three colours: gold, silver and black.
Although official specs have yet to be announced, it’s likely that the new product will retain the Band 8 Pro’s specs, such as a large AMOLED display, heart rate and blood oxygen level monitoring, stress and sleep tracking, water resistance up to 5 ATM and more than 150 sport modes. Improvements in the form of automatic brightness adjustment, GPS and seamless integration with the Mi Fitness app are possible.
