Last year’s team, bogged down by a mix of late additions and inexperienced players, was still figuring out the system at this point. In contrast, this year’s squad is more confident and efficient, knowing where to be and what’s expected of them. There’s less need for instruction, which has allowed for a faster tempo and crisper practice overall.
