Wu Yibing breezes past Jarry to move into third round
Chinese wildcard Wu Yibing advanced to the third round of the Shanghai Masters by defeating Chilean Nicolas Jarry, the No 25 seed, 6-2, 6-1 at the Qi Zhong Tennis Center.
Wu Yibing will play the winner of the match between Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, the No 3 seed, and Chinese Juncheng Shang next.
In the previous round of the Shanghai tournament, the Chinese won against Indian Sumit Nagal (6-3, 6-3).
