Reportedly training up to the Breeders’ Cup Sprint, Grade 1 Forego Stakes winner Mullikin returned to the work
tab Thursday.

The 4-year-old Violence colt owned by Siena Farm and WinStar
Farm turned in a 49.0-second half-mile breeze at Keeneland for trainer Rodolphe Brisset, who told BloodHorse that there would be no added race between now and the Oct. 2 date at Del Mar.

Across America there were eight graded-stakes winners on the
Thursday tab.

Mullikin (Violence), a Grade 1 winner (2024
Forego), worked four furlongs in 49.0 seconds at Keeneland on Thursday morning.
It was the eighth fastest of 18 works at the distance. This was his first work
since his last race. In his last start he won the Forego (G1) going seven
furlongs on the main track at Saratoga on Aug. 24 for trainer Rodolphe Brisset.

Julia Shining (Curlin), a Grade 2 winner (2022 Demoiselle), worked
four furlongs in 53.0 seconds at Saratoga. It was the slowest of 27 works at
the distance. Her previous work was seven days ago going three furlongs at
Saratoga. In her last start she placed fourth in the Allaire DuPont Distaff
going 1 1/8 miles on the main track at Pimlico on May 17 for trainer Todd
Pletcher.

Scaramouche (Munnings), a Grade 2 winner (2022 Gallant Bob), worked
four furlongs in 47.3 seconds at Parx Racing. It was the fastest of 12 works at
the distance. His previous work was eight days ago going four furlongs at Parx
Racing. In his last start he placed seventh in the State Representative’s
Sprint going 6 1/2 furlongs on the main track at Parx on Aug. 24 for trainer
Guadalupe Preciado.

Big City Lights (Mr. Big), a Grade 3 winner (2024 Palos Verdes),
worked three furlongs in 35.6 seconds at Santa Anita. It was the fastest of
seven works at the distance. His previous work was nine days ago going three
furlongs at Del Mar. In his last start he placed third in the Pat O’Brien (G2)
going seven furlongs on the main track at Del Mar on Aug. 24 for trainer
Richard Mandella.

Gray’s Fable (Gio Ponti), a Grade 3 winner (2021 Appleton), worked
four furlongs in 49.4 seconds at Delaware Park. It was the third fastest of 16
works at the distance. His previous work was nine days ago going four furlongs
at Delaware Park. In his last start he placed eighth in the Jonathan B.
Schuster Memorial going 1 1/16 miles on the turf at Horseshoe Indianapolis on
July 6 for trainer Michael Stidham.

Hope Road (Quality Road), a Grade 3 winner (2024 Torrey Pines),
worked four furlongs in 47.8 seconds at Santa Anita. It was the sixth fastest
of 33 works at the distance. This was her first work since her last race. In
her last start she won the Torrey Pines (G3) going one mile on the main track
at Del Mar on Aug. 31 for trainer Bob Baffert.

Majestic Eagle (Medaglia d’Oro), a Grade 3 winner (2019 American),
worked three furlongs in 39.0 seconds at Belmont Park. It was the 10th fastest
of 11 works at the distance. This was his first work since his last race. In
his last start he placed third in a claiming race going five furlongs on the
turf at Monmouth Park on Sept. 7 for trainer David Jacobson.

Opalina (Optimizer), a Grade 3 winner (2022 Sweetest Chant), worked
four furlongs in 49.6 seconds at Fair Hill. It was the slowest of five works at
the distance. Her previous work was seven days ago going four furlongs at Fair
Hill. In her last start she placed second in the Herecomesthebride (G3) going
one mile on the turf at Gulfstream Park on March 5 for trainer Roderick Rodríguez.
