Training up to the Breeders’ Cup Distaff on Nov. 2 at Del Mar,
leading 3-year-old filly Thorpedo Anna turned in a bullet workout Saturday
morning at Saratoga.
The four-time Grade 1 winner trained by Kenny McPeek went
five furlongs on the Oklahoma dirt training track in 1:00.4, the fastest of
five breezes at that distance.
Owned by Brookdale Racing, Mark Edwards, Judy Hicks and Sherri
McPeek, the Fast Anna filly worked for the first time since she won the Grade 1
Cotillion two weeks ago at Parx.
There were 39 graded-stakes winners on the U.S. and Canada
work tab Saturday.
Thorpedo Anna (Fast Anna), a four-time Grade 1
winner, worked five furlongs in 1:00.4 at Saratoga on Saturday morning. It was
