MOREHEAD, Ky. —
Morehead State’s Women’s Golf team is set to wrap up the fall portion of the 2024-25 schedule this week at The Robbie tournament just outside Huntsville, Ala. The event is hosted by Lipscomb.
The tournament is named after Robbie Brewer-Davis, a long-time Lipscomb fan who graduated there in 1974.
The Eagles have been consistent this fall, finishing eighth, seventh, seventh and sixth, respectively, in the four previous tournaments. MSU is guaranteed to finish better this week, however, as there are only five teams competing, plus individuals from nationally ranked Louisville and Vanderbilt.
Mainstays Tavia Burgess, Tuva Marie Isebakke and Isabella Wiley are in the lineup, along with Hanna Montgomery and Hannah Curreri this week. Curreri will be seeing just her second action in a tournament lineup in the past three seasons.
Burgess leads the Eagles with a 72.7 season average so far with four top 20 finishes in her first four college events.
The Eagles will be off for the winter and return to action Feb. 9-11 in Florida.
