A highly successful fall season concludes next week with the 2024 Diamante Intercollegiate, the annual home event for the Little Rock Women’s Golf team, taking place Sunday thru Tuesday at Diamante Country Club in Hot Springs Village. A field of 18 teams will tee off tomorrow morning in the first of three days of competition. Sunday’s opening round tees off with a shotgun start at 8:30 am.
LIVE LEADERBOARD
Little Rock will lead the field at the 6,124-yard Par 72 course, on the strength of a second-place team finish last week during the Lady Red Wolves Classic in Jonesboro. Freshman Kathrine Vynne – the OVC Golfer of the Month for September – came in second individually and picked up her second OVC Golfer of the Week award earlier this week.
Two weeks ago, the Little Rock program achieved its highest national ranking in its history, receiving votes in the latest Mizuno WGCA (Women’s Golf Coaches Association) Poll and landing at #31 nationally.
