VALENCIA, Calif. – Earning its fourth finish in the top-three this season, the Pepperdine women’s golf team finished in third at the Bruin Wave Invitational. The Waves posted a total of 895 (307-298-290) (+31) at the par-72 6,359-yard Valencia Country Club this week.
Jeneath Wong led the Waves with a three-round total of 221 (78-75-68) (+5) as she finished tied for ninth and collected her second top-10 finish this year, and her 10th finish inside the top-10 of her career. Wong’s 4-under 68 in the final round led the entire field today.
#31 UCLA won the tournament with an 870 (+6), while #29 Baylor came in second with a score of 892 (+28).
