CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College women’s golf team has unveiled their 2024 fall schedule. The Blue Hose are set to participate in five tournaments during the upcoming season, including two invitationals that the program has never participated in.
“Women’s golf is very excited about the upcoming season.” Said Presbyterian’s Director of Golf Thomas Addison. “While the program is in a transition period with the departure of Coach Covar, the athletic department is pulling together to make the start of this year as smooth as possible. I have high expectations on what the ladies can accomplish both on and off the course. We are looking forward to a fantastic 2024-25 season for the PC Women’s Golf Program.”
The team is returning all six letterwinners from last season while adding one new face to the Blue Hose family. Freshman Sloane Spessard will make her collegiate debut with Presbyterian College during their first tournament this fall.
The team officially kicks off the fall campaign with a short trip to Clemson, S.C., where they’ll compete in the Clemson Invitational for the first time on August 26.
In September, the Blue Hose will head to Alamance, N.C., to take part in the Elon Invitational on September 16-17. Just a week later, they’ll be back in action for their debut at the Tot Hill Farm Invitational in Asheboro, N.C., on September 23-24.
As the season progresses, the team will compete in the Terrier Intercollegiate in Spartanburg, S.C., on October 21-22.
Finally, Presbyterian will close out the fall season with the Big South Preview, held on November 1-3 at Fripp Island, S.C. This event will offer the Blue Hose an opportunity to face off against other teams in the league.
