NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Belmont women’s golf team kicks off their 2024 fall season this Monday and Tuesday at The Velvet Invitational hosted by Murray State in Paducah, Kentucky.

This week’s The Velvet is a two-day, 54-hole event with 36 holes contested on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday. The tournament honors former Murray State head coach, Velvet Milkman, and will be held at The Country Club of Paducah. The course will play to a par of 71 and length of 6076 yards.
The field features 14 teams and includes five other MVC teams: host Murray State, Evansville, Indiana State, Northern Iowa, and Southern Illinois.
