GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) women’s golf team makes its way to Greenville, North Carolina, to compete in the Pirate Collegiate Classic, hosted by East Carolina University (ECU), at Greenville Country Club.
The Spartans are coming off a third-place finish at the Golfweek Fall Challenge. Freshman Sophie Lauture led UNCG in her first time competing in a tournament at the college level, tying for third after shooting a five-under-par (208).
The Pirate Collegiate Classic will mark freshman Lulu Leetham’s first time competing as a Spartan. Leetham and sophomore Kasey McIlvaine will each compete individually in the tournament.

THE FORMAT
The two-day, 16-team and 54-hole tournament gets underway on Monday morning at 7:36 a.m. The first two rounds will be played on Monday before the tournament finishes with the final 18 holes played on Tuesday.
