Women’s Golf Final Day Canceled – Longwood University Athletics
BURLINGTON, N.C. – On Tuesday, the final round of the opening tournament of the season was canceled due to inclement weather for Longwood women’s golf.
The Lancers had entered the day 11th in the Elon Invitational, which is where they finished as the scores reverted to the completion of 36 holes from the opening day.
Two freshmen led Longwood, with Abigail Sheldon tying for 13th while Chiara Wippert tied for 28th in the 82-player field.
The Lancers return to the course on Monday, September 30 to open the 2024 Pirate Collegiate Classic, hosted by East Carolina at the Greenville Country Club.
