ORLANDO, Fla. – Tuesday saw the Central Arkansas women’s golf team close the DPI Intercollegiate in 16^th place. The highlight of the day was Gudrun Thorsteinsdottir’s hole in one, the third in program history that came on the 17^th hole.
 
Emma Leroy Fabry and Valeria Ramirez ended up tied for the team lead, both Bears tallying a 3-over 219 when it was all said and done. Ramirez added three birdies to her scorecard in round three, scoring a 1-under 71 for her best round of the tournament. Fabry sun a birdie on four to help pave the way for a 2-over 74.
 
Thorsteinsdottir’s 148-yard ace helped her play her way to a 3-over 75. She capped her three-round score at an 8-over 224. Camila Negroni finished one stroke behind her teammate, adding a birdie on 17 to put her three-round total at a team-high 11 birdies. Ayami Takahashi closed her third round at a 2-over 74, posting her best round on the final day of play. She shot an even 37 on the back nine, including a birdie on the ninth.
 
Baylor held on for the team title, winning by two strokes over Duke. North Carolina jumped up from fifth to third to round out the top three. Kansas’ Lauren Clark won the individual title by five strokes, followed by Baylor’s Silje Ohma in second and a four-way tie for third.
