JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – North Florida women’s golf reels in a pair of freshmen signees to join the Osprey family, as announced by Director of Golf Scott Schroeder on Monday afternoon.
Chulathida “Tantai” Seema will be set to join UNF from Bangkok, Thailand, this upcoming spring season. Ava Cottis comes in from Savannah, Ga., to be the first signee of the ’25 class, as she will make her way to the First Coast this fall.

Class: Freshman
High School: The American School of Bangkok Green Valley
Intended Major: Political Science
Prior to UNF: Has played on the high school varsity golf team since the seventh grade…placed as the top overall player three different times…was the medalist crown winner at the 2022 Wellington Invitational (71), the 2022 ISGT Shrewsbury Invitational (70) and the 2023 ISGT ISB Invitational (70)…also performed in the top three overall at the 2024 ISGT ASB Eagle Cup (75).
Junior/Amateur: Has participated in the Thailand Golf Association (2019-24), TJGGA Optimist Tour (2019-24) and TJGGA Wagr Tour (2022-24)…top placements were second at the 2022 FCG International Championship (70-68), fifth at the 2022 Thai Ladies Amateur Open (73-72-71) and the 2024 Optimist International Junior Championship (72-72-73)…ranked sixth in the 2022 TGA – SINGHA Junior Golf (73-73-70), while also scoring well at the 2022 SDJGA Terry Lynn Figueras (66), the 43rd Sarawak Premier Cup in 2022 (68-70-67) and the 2024 TJGGA Junior Golf Talent (80-68).
Personal: Daughter of Auschaphong and Boodsada Seema…has one sister, Thamnida (22), who plays golf at Baylor…2x student council member, 2x national honor society, 2x director’s honor roll and principal’s honor roll…born on Aug. 11, 2007…plans to major in political science.
Chose UNF because “I believe that this is the place that will help me achieve my dreams of playing in the LPGA. Prior to UNF: Played high school varsity golf for all four years…earned area and state championships three times from 2022-24…was also the 2024 Richmond Hill champs…selected to All-State First Team over the last two seasons, as well as honorable mention in 2022…tied for low medalist at state competition in 2024…won academic golf as freshman (78) and sophomore (76), to go along with Raider Award as a junior (74).
Junior/Amateur: Won tour titles at the Peggy Kirk Bell Girls Golf Tour (PKB) in 2022, 2023 and 2024…played in the Ga. Women’s AM in 2023 and 2024, along with the Dixie AM in 2023…qualified for both the U.S. Junior girls and U.S. Women’s Open tournaments.
Personal: Daughter of John and Vicki Cottis…was one sister, Peyton (32)…played both golf and flag football at Savannah Christian Preparatory School…held a superb 4.08 GPA throughout her HS career…born on Feb. 9, 2007…born and raised in Savannah, Ga.
