Wisconsin class of 2026 commit offensive lineman Benjamin Novak is set to take an official visit to Madison, Wisconsin, on June 5.
Novak joins a growing list of recruits scheduled to visit the Badgers during the June recruiting frenzy. Several already signed on for the May 31 – June 2 weekend. Novak is now leading a collection of top targets set for June 5-8.
As of Feb. 11, Novak is the only player committed to Wisconsin’s class of 2026.
247Sports currently lists the Merrillville, Indiana, native as a three-star recruit, ranked as the No. 654 player in the class, No. 55 interior offensive lineman and No. 4 recruit from his home state. He committed to the Badgers back on Oct. 7, 2024, choosing the program over other offers, including Indiana, Kentucky and Louisville.
Wisconsin had another commitment in its class at the time: three-star quarterback Jarin Mock. Mock, however, became part of a top-down overhaul of the program’s quarterback room after the firing of offensive coordinator Phil Longo and subsequent hire of Jeff Grimes. The three-star quarterback decommitted from the class on Jan. 14.
Wisconsin’s class of 2026 currently sits No. 61 in the nation at this early stage of the cycle. The program is looking to replicate its top 25 finishes to both the class of 2024 and 2025.
Novak will visit campus in early June, along with many of the program’s top targets. Given his early pledge to the program, he may become a member of the recruiting staff for the weekend, working to help guide fellow recruits to commit to the Badgers.
