Yahoo Sports fantasy analyst Tera Roberts breaks down why the Chargers WR is a smart play for fantasy managers in Week 12.
I am all in on Lad McConkie this week.
He has been trending up over the past month.
Now it took some time for the Chargers’ offense to really find its rhythm, but Justin Herbert is absolutely excelling and taking advantage of easy matchups and utilizing the entire receiving court.
McConkie is playing a major role in that, coming off a very strong performance of over 100 yards against Simpson.
Mattie, this week’s matchup against Baltimore is the perfect opportunity to repeat this production, plus a touchdown.
McConkie is a top 20 receiver this week.
Herbert is a top 5 quarterback in a primetime matchup that we’re expecting to have excellent volume from both sides.
I could easily see McConkie replicating his week 8 production against New Orleans, where he finished as the overall wide receiver too.
