There were some impressive statistical showings among boys athletes on the Northshore last week.

Brennon Bell, Covington: The sophomore posted 15 points and nine rebounds as the Lions won their first playoff game against 2011 with a 54-50 victory over Slidell on Feb. 28.
Brayden Calamari, Slidell: The senior went 5-of-13 last week with 5 RBIs and a home run as the Tigers posted a 3-1 record last week.
Jaxson Hill, Fontainebleau: The junior went 6-for-12 last week with 6 RBIs, 2 triples and a double as the Bulldogs posted a 3-1 record last week.
Jeremiah Lewis, Lakeshore: The junior came off the bench and scored a game-high 14 points as the Titans scored a 53-45 first-round playoff win over Cecilia on Feb. 28.
Carson Malasovich, Northshore: The senior right-hander threw a complete-game one-hitter with 11 strikeouts as the Panthers earned a 2-1 win over Northlake Christian on Feb. 25.
Sean Smith, Pope John Paul II: The senior powerlifter won the South Regional title at 275 pounds on March 1. He finished with lifts totaling 1,565 pounds including a 635-pound squat, 405-pound bench and 525-pound deadlift.
Owen Stempel, Hannan: The senior right-hander threw five no-hit innings with 11 strikeouts during a 6-2 win over Central Private on Feb. 28.
