It might not be what fans of the Boston Celtics want to hear, but champion Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo thinks that his former teammate on the Los Angeles Lakers might be the greatest NBA player of all time. In case you have yet to piece together which of those teammates we might be referring to here, we of course mean Lakers star forward LeBron James.
We are not sure why Rondo came to such a conclusion after everything Bill Russell has done (we kid, but just barely) as a fellow Celtics champ, but in all seriousness, the University of Kentucky alum has good reason to see LeBron as G.O.A.T. — and not just because they won a title with each other.
Rondo explained his point of view with this touchiest of topics on a recent episode of the “Draymond Green” show with the eponymous host. Check it out below!
