One of the biggest boxing events of 2024 is set for Friday night, as former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson is set to take on YouTube star-turned-boxer Jake Paul at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
While the preliminary matches will be available to watch for free, the main event between Tyson and Paul will air on Netflix, as the streaming giant has exclusive broadcast rights to the fight.
The bout came into question earlier this year, when Tyson dealt with an ulcer flare-up in May that required him to scale back training. However, the parties were able to agree to move the fight date from July 15 to November, giving fight fans the match they’ve been looking forward to.
Tyson resumed training in July, and has declared himself physically ready for the fight. Netflix has begun airing “Countdown: Paul vs. Tyson,” a documentary tracking both fighters as they go through grueling training camps and navigate all the hype heading into the massive bout.
If you don’t have a Netflix subscription and want to watch the fight, here are some of the sports bar chains planning to air the fight, as well as some food or drink specials for Friday night.
