The 2024 horse racing calendar is winding down ahead of the one dark day in North America on Christmas. The main event before the year ends is the start of Santa Anita Park’s winter-spring “Classic” meet on Dec. 26, but prior to that, there’s still plenty of action on hand this upcoming weekend at venues such as Gulfstream Park, Oaklawn Park, Turfway Park, and Fair Grounds.

Live racing from Gulfstream, Fair Grounds, Turfway, and other tracks will air on FanDuel TV and its sister channel FanDuel Racing, highlighted by big Saturday cards at Gulfstream and Fair Grounds on Dec. 21. Fair Grounds’ card is anchored by the Gun Runner Stakes, a qualifying points prep for the 2025 Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve.

Racing at Oaklawn Park is showcased on “America’s Day at the Races” during three shows from Friday, Dec. 20, to Sunday, Dec. 22. Aqueduct racing is paused during a week winter break, and the “America’s Day at the Races” team will focus coverage on Oaklawn during the shows airing on FOX Sports – see the below schedule for channels and times.

Horse racing from tracks around the world is available to subscribers on Racetrack Television Network (RTN), which can be livestreamed on all devices (computer, tablet and smartphone) and on TV via DISH Network, Amazon Fire and Roku.
