Rankings for the 2025 recruiting class are finalized, and Michigan’s football program finished with its highest-rated haul since 2017.
With the addition of four-star offensive lineman Ty Haywood during Wednesday’s traditional national signing day, the Wolverines moved up two spots to No. 6 in the country, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
The 247Sports Composite is an aggregate ranking of the four major recruiting services. Of Michigan’s 24 signees, six are ranked among the top 100 while 11 are inside the top 200.
Since the early signing period in December, each recruiting site has updated its rankings and ratings. Here’s where the Wolverines’ prospects finished in each service’s rankings.

Not every Michigan recruit will have an individual ranking for each site. The services only give an overall ranking to a finite number of prospects. For instance, 247Sports ranks the top 247, but it still assigns a rating for each prospect and ranks prospects by position. If a Wolverines signee isn’t nationally ranked by one of the individual services, it is not included below, but every prospect has a 247Sports Composite ranking.
