Where every 2025 Georgia football signee finished in the final recruiting rankings

ATHENS — The 2025 recruiting cycle is set to come to a close next Wednesday with National Signing Day.

Most of Georgia’s work however has long been done when it comes to the 2025 recruiting cycle. Georgia officially signed 25 players in the 2025 cycle and of the 28-man recruiting class, 24 members are already on campus as early enrollees.

The recruiting class finished ranked as the No. 2 according to all four major recruiting services. It marks the ninth straight season that Georgia has signed a top-4 ranked recruiting class under Kirby Smart. Alabama is the only other program that can match that feat.

“We try to recruit kids that, you know, that when they say that they’re coming, they’re coming,” Smart said back in December. “And we’ve had a large sum of commitments for quite a while. And it doesn’t keep teams from reaching out to them and throwing things at them late. And it’s never different than it was. It’s only higher-priced and more money being thrown now, which is unfortunate, but fortunate.”

One big difference with this Georgia class was how much it leaned on in-state talent. Of the 28 commits and signees, 21 are from the state of Georgia. In the previous three classes combined, Georgia signed 27 players from the state of Georgia.

The Bulldogs loaded up on the offensive line, wide receiver and defensive back positions in this class. Georgia signed five players at offensive line and wide receiver, and bring in six defensive backs.

Georgia signed six players who earned a 5-star ranking from at least one of the recruiting services. In total, 23 of Georgia’s 28 recruits in the 2025 signing cycle are blue-chip recruits, indicating they are either 5-star or 4-star recruits.
