Former Iowa coach Lisa Bluder is so excited to see her former Hawkeye, Kate Martin, get the recognition she deserves in the WNBA.

Kate Martin and her Laces BC are set play the Lunar Owls in the new 3-on-3 women’s basketball league, Unrivaled, at 5 p.m. CT Saturday. TruTV will broadcast the game.
The former Iowa women’s basketball star and member of the new WNBA expansion team, the Golden State Valkyries, is one of six players on the Laces’ roster. The team is coached by Andrew Wade.
Martin is averaging 7.8 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.2 steals through the team’s 5-3 start. Martin did not play in the team’s last game, however, due to a left leg injury, according to the league’s injury report.
Unrivaled games are played in Miami, Fla.
