Amazon Prime Big Deal Days is only a few days away with some of the season’s best holiday shopping deals just a mouse click away.
The big two-day sale, which starts Tuesday, Oct. 8, will be a good opportunity to snag holiday shopping items and big-ticket tech toys like Apple products, smart home devices, Dyson vacuums, TVs and countertop appliances.
Still, wondering if getting (or renewing) your Amazon Prime membership is worth it to get some of these sweet deals? Here’s everything there is to know about Amazon Prime’s Big Deal Days, which starts Tuesday.

People can start shopping in the early morning hours on Tuesday, Oct. 8. Amazon Prime Big Deal Days launch at 12:01 a.m. Pacific time.

After the start time, shoppers have 48 hours before the deals end at 11:59 Pacific time on Wednesday, Oct. 9.
Yes, you must be a Prime member to access the special Amazon Prime Day deals. However, it’s not too late to join.
A standard membership costs $14.99 per month or $139 for a one-year subscription. Students and those who qualify for government assistance can receive a 50% discount.
Amazon launched its popular Prime Day sale in 2015. Several years ago, it added the Prime Big Deal Days sale in October to kick off the online holiday shopping season. Amazon also introduced the Big Spring Sale in 2024.

There are plenty of things on sale to add to your cart, but there are time limits set on some of the deals. If you want to shop with a bit more leisure ahead of Tuesday, there are plenty of incredible early Amazon deals leading up to the huge shopping event.
It may seem like everything under the sun is on sale for Amazon Prime Day and for the most part it is! But be aware that some of the sales have limited quantities or are only on sale for a certain amount of time.
