IOWA: Kaleb Johnson has been the star of the offense, rushing for 306 yards on 36 carries. Quarterback Cade McNamara and the rest of the offense are still trying to figure things out. Iowa gave away the Cy-Hawk game with a costly interception, awful red-zone offense and a couple of blown pass coverages by the defense. The Hawkeyes will look for a comfortable victory vs. Troy before opening Big Ten play the following week at Minnesota.
TROY: The Trojans lost their season opener at home vs. Nevada 28-26, then traveled to Memphis and dropped a 38-17 decision. Damien Taylor has rushed for 136 yards on 18 carries. Goose Crowder and Matthew Caldwell have split the work at quarterback. Devonte Ross has 10 catches for 130 yards.
