What factors have contributed to the Boston Celtics recent slump? There have been a plethora of theories about what it is that has been driving the Celtics to roughly a .500 record since Turkey Day back in 2024. To some fans and analysts of the team, it is simply a case of a defending champ that is bored with the regular season, soon to crank things up as the 2025 NBA Playoffs draw closer.
To others, there are potentially more concerning issues at hand to contend with, ranging from tiredness and injury impacts to internal division and other teams knowing how to stop the Celtics from doing what they do best from beyond the arc.
The hosts of the CLNS Media “First to the Floor” podcast, Jake Issenberg, Ben Vallis, and Wayne Spooney, took a deep dive on the subject on a recent episode of their show. Check it out below!
