Gambhir has shown faith and belief in Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma despite all the questions being raised around the cricketing fraternity about their forms in recent times and expects them to do well.

On being asked about his reaction to Ricky Ponting questioning Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, showing his belief in his players, Gambhir said:
“What does Ponting have to do with Indian cricket? He should think about Australian cricket. We have no concerns about Kohli, Rohit. They have achieved a lot for Indian cricket and will do in the future as well.”

“The most important thing for me is that they still work really hard, and they have hunger in the dressing room, and they want to achieve a lot more things, especially after what has happened in the New Zealand series,” Gambhir further added.
