“Pakhtakor” played in the 7th round of the Elite Champions League against “Al Gharafa” in Qatar and lost by a narrow margin.
“Pakhtakor” head coach Pedro Moreira expressed his thoughts after the defeat to “Al Gharafa”.
“We knew the game would be difficult. Because our opponent is at a good level and they are still in the season. In the first half we gave the opponent a few chances and they took advantage of them.
We always play to win. Now we have to think about winning in the next match. In the second half we played well, we controlled the pace. We didn’t give the hosts a chance to go ahead. There were only shortcomings in creating chances. We need to work on that. We are now playing in our first official match.
