USC women’s basketball picked up another big ranked win Wednesday.
Led by a 28-point performance from superstar JuJu Watkins and 24 points from Kiki Iriafen, the No. 4 Trojans pushed their winning streak to four with an 83-75 win over No. 22 Michigan State. USC (24-2, 14-1 Big Ten) will look to continue its winning ways when it hosts No. 25 Illinois (21-6, 11-5) at the Galen Center in Los Angeles at 4 p.m. ET on Sunday. The Trojans will celebrate the senior day in their final 2023-24 season home game.
Illinois lost to UCLA on Thursday 70-55 to snap an eight-game winning streak for the Fighting Illini. Illinois’ last loss before Thursday was 86-68 to Michigan State on Jan. 19. The Fighting Illini are 11-2 since 2005 began. USC is 7-1 against ranked opponents this season and 21-0 when scoring 70 or more points per game.
