NFL Week 17 picks: Why you should consider Lions, Panthers and Colts
Lorenzo Reyes is back with his three best bets ahead of Week 17 games. Find out why he likes the Lions, Panthers and Colts to cover the spread.
The Seattle Seahawks and Chicago Bears square off in the Week 17 edition of “Thursday Night Football,” which sees the pressure squarely on the visiting team.
Seattle (8-7), to keep their playoff hopes alive, faces a virtual must-win scenario at Soldier Field. The Seahawks must claim the NFC West title to get into the postseason, which means getting ahead of the Los Angeles Rams (9-6). Last week didn’t help, with costly penalties and interceptions leading to a 27-24 home loss to the Minnesota Vikings.
Chicago (4-11) is looking for any sort of positive news at this point in a lost season. The Bears have not won since Oct. 13, losing nine straight. While there have been some tight games in that run, last week’s 34-17 loss to the Detroit Lions saw Chicago literally fumble away a solid game from Caleb Williams (334 yards, two touchdowns) en route to yet another defeat.
Here is what to know and how to watch the final “Thursday Night Football” game of the 2024 NFL season between the Seattle Seahawks and Chicago Bears:
