Where do Emanuel Wilson, AJ Dillon fall in Packers running back depth?
Emanuel Wilson was one of the stars of the Packers’ first preseason game; does he have a leg up over AJ Dillon for the backup running back job?
A national audience will see the Green Bay Packers play their preseason game against the Denver Broncos tonight.
The game is televised on the NFL Network as well as local stations. But with head coach Matt LaFleur electing to go with a majority of the backups, fans won’t see Jordan Love and many of the team’s starters.
Love played one successful series against the Cleveland Browns in the preseason opener Aug. 10 before giving way to backups Sean Clifford and rookie Michael Pratt. Clifford and Pratt have been in a battle all training camp and look to gain an edge with another opportunity.
The Packers’ backup running back and the kicking competition are also positions to watch in this preseason game.
The Packers defense will line up against the Broncos starting quarterback, rookie Bo Nix, to open the game.
Here’s how to watch the Packers-Broncos preseason game:
All preseason games are televised on a 22-station network across Wisconsin and the Midwest region. The NFL Network is available on the streaming service Fubo. NFL+ also offers live out-of-market preseason games.
