LAWRENCE — Kansas basketball will attempt to bounce back from its first loss this season, as it goes for a Sunday road game against rival Missouri.
The No. 1 Jayhawks (7-1) are coming off of a loss on the road against Creighton. The Tigers (7-1) are coming off of a win at home against California. It’s the latest edition of a rivalry that has seen KU win all three matchups since the rivalry was renewed — starting with the 2021-22 season.

The game between Kansas and Missouri will be broadcast on ESPN2 during the 2024-25 college basketball season. Tom Hart (play-by-play), Fran Fraschilla (analyst), Andy Bock (producer), and Bradley Sheldon (director) will be on the call. The game will be played at Mizzou Arena in Columbia, Missouri.
Kansas basketball will play Missouri at 12 p.m. (CT) at Mizzou Arena.
Missouri has started this season off well and certainly can score the ball, but Kansas has been battled tested to a greater degree to date this season. That should help the Jayhawks in what will be a hostile environment. Kansas comes away with an 85-74 win.
