It’s MACtion time in Muncie.
Ball State football will host Miami (Ohio) for the Redbird Rivalry in one of the Mid-American Conference’s first midweek MACtion games of the 2024 season.
The Cardinals (3-5, 2-2 MAC) are coming off a 25-23 upset win over Northern Illinois, while the RedHawks (4-4, 3-1) are on a three-game conference winning streak and dominated Central Michigan, 46-7, in their last game. The conference’s 12 coaches voted Miami as the preseason favorite for the MAC title.
Ball State has lost the last four Redbird Rivalry matchups and is an underdog for the second week in a row, but the Cardinals are on an upward trajectory as of late. A win would put them firmly in contention for a MAC title game appearance, while a loss would put them on the verge of missing a bowl game for the third season in a row.
Here’s how to watch Ball State football’s first MACtion game of the season against Miami (Ohio):
The Redbird Rivalry will be nationally televised on ESPN. The game will begin following the first College Football Playoff Rankings Show of the season.
Ball State and Miami (Ohio) will kick off at 8 p.m. ET on Tuesday from Scheumann Stadium.
