Nate Oats previews Alabama vs North Carolina, talks Latrell Wrightsell injury
The Alabama men’s basketball coach previewed the Crimson Tide’s meeting with North Carolina, and gave an injury update on Latrell Wrightsell.

After falling to undefeated Oregon in the Players Era Festival championship on Saturday, the No. 12 Crimson Tide look to rebound with a win over the No. 22 Tar Heels.
Despite being lesser ranked, UNC (4-3) is a 57.7% favorite to win the matchup, per ESPN. This will be the first game that Alabama (6-2) has to operate without returning Final Four starting guard Latrell Wrightsell, Jr., who was ruled out for the 2024-25 season with a ruptured Achilles sustained against the Ducks.
