After notching a season-opening win against UNC-Asheville on Monday, the Crimson Tide is taking the floor for game No. 2 against Arkansas State on Friday.
The Red Wolves, led by former Alabama basketball assistant coach Bryan Hodgson, also enter Friday’s matchup 1-0 after an 80-75 overtime win against Akron earlier in the week.
Entering the 2024-25 season as the favorite to win the Sun Belt Conference, Arkansas State most recently finished 20-17 with an 11-7 record in conference play. Meanwhile, Alabama (1-0) came off of last season’s Final Four run and into the new year tabbed to win the SEC championship.
Alabama vs. Arkansas State will not be televised nationally. However, it can be streamed on ESPN+ and SECN+.
The Alabama vs. Arkansas State game will be played at approximately 7 p.m. CT Friday at Coleman Coliseum in Tuscaloosa.
