The William Floyd Board of Education recently honored members of Century 21 Cor-Ace Realty for serving as the organizers of the annual William Floyd Scholarship Fund Golf Tournament, which since its inception has raised and donated more than $625,000 in student scholarships for deserving graduating William Floyd seniors.
In gratitude for their commitment and generosity for this yearly endeavor, a labor of love which has helped so many William Floyd graduates pursue their post-secondary goals, the Board of Education presented a plaque at the September 10 Board of Education meeting thanking Anthony Alfano, Anthony Coraci, Anthony Liberti, Barbara Liberti, Al Walter and Gina Walter, which states, “In grateful appreciation for helping William Floyd students achieve their dreams by providing more than $625,000 in scholarships to deserving graduates over the past 26 years! Thank you for your generosity and commitment to our students and community!”
