West Indies have announced their 15-man squad for the upcoming One-Day International (ODI) series against England. The series begins in Antigua on Thursday and concludes with a match in Barbados on November 6.
The squad sees the return of Shimron Hetmyer, who last played in December of the previous year. He replaces Alick Athanaze, marking the only change from the team that recently toured Sri Lanka.
West Indies head coach Daren Sammy commented on the upcoming games: “Playing against England always provides a new challenge and reignites a rivalry that the players and the people of the Caribbean are eager for.”
Following the ODI series, West Indies will play England in a five-match T20 series starting on November 9, with the squad for these matches yet to be announced.
