Area golf teams are entering a full week of competition so here’s a look at Monday’s results:
John Glenn boys fifth in Pick Central Invite: The Muskies shot 330 to finish behind Granville (308), Thomas Worthington (309), Big Walnut (312) and Hilliard Darby (328) in a loaded Division I field at Turnberry.
Noah Dever paced John Glenn with a 78, while CJ Dolan posted an 80, JT Orecchio shot 85 and Cooper Briggs added an 87.
Thomas Worthington’s Jack Flores took medalist honors with a 70, while Reynoldsburg’s Tanner Wood was second with 72, Big Walnut’s Ethan Krebs had 75 and Granville took the next three spots with Samuel Pfau at 76 and Brogan Burgett and Alex Organ at 77.
Sheridan boys at Newark Catholic Invite: The Generals totaled 335 at Moundbuilders Country Club.
Wyatt Satterfield paced Sheridan with an 80, while Owen Cains shot an 83 and Canyon Daly and Liam Gutridge carded 86s.
Tri-Valley girls second at John Glenn Invite: The Scotties totaled 410 as the runner-up during Monday’s tournament ay Jaycees.
Anna Derwacter posted a 94 and Gwyn Dal Ponte carded a 99 to finish in the Top 10, while Regan Shirer had 107 and Lexie Geyer 110 to round out the Tri-Valley scoring.
