The 6-year-old gelding breezed three furlongs in 37.2 seconds, third fastest of five at the distance.
Trained by Ed Moger Jr., Stilleto Boy has not won since last year’s Santa Anita Handicap (G1) and is 0-for-4 this year. The Prairie Bayou will be his first career start on a synthetic surface.
Stilleto Boy was one of eight graded-stakes winners with published works Wednesday. Three others worked Tuesday.
