Chasemaster Virat Kohli fashioned another famous win for India in the semifinals of the Champions Trophy against Australia in Dubai on Tuesday, and his celebratory expression looking at wife Anushka Sharma after the match added the cherry at the top.
Man-of-the-match Kohli scored 84 off 98 balls and looked set for another century, but closer to the win, he perished in an attempt to finish the game early when leg-spinner Adam Zampa had him caught at long-on by Ben Dwarshuis.

However, the batting legend had done enough damage by then to allow KL Rahul (42 not out) and Hardik Pandya (28) to take India past Australia’s 264 all out. Shreyas Iyer’s 45 was the other important contribution in India’s four-wicket win.
Earlier, India’s bowling was once again spearheaded by Mohammed Shami, who took 3 for 48, while spinner Varun Chakravarthy (2 for 49) and Ravindra Jadeja (2 for 40) claimed two wickets each.
At the end of the match, the Indian players were all smiles, exchanging hugs and high-fives in the dressing room before they walked down to the sidelines, where Kohli was seen looking towards Anushka in the stands and punching the air with a big smile on his face.
