ATLANTA — Ohio State is just one win away from immortality.
With a win over Notre Dame in the College Football Playoff title game on Monday night, the Buckeyes will earn their ninth championship in program history. And all the big stars are out to root on Ohio State.
Titled “Chapter of Champions,” the team released its pregame hype trailer, narrated by Ohio’s own and NBA legend LeBron James.
“This journey is not so different from our past eight championships,” James began. “They wrote us off, but every time, we kept writing.”
It then includes clips of former national titles for Ohio State, then includes clips from the offseason workouts.
“The pen is in our hands, and we’re writing our championship chapter,” James continued. “Why not us? Why not Ohio? Why not engrave our legacy in gold?”
The video then cuts to various highlights of the team’s playoff run, including Jack Sawyer’s touchdown run against Texas in the semifinals, before James ends the video with a phrase all Ohio State fans know well:
“It is, what it will always be: Ohio Against The World.”
