Williams, a 17-year-old freshman, scored the Crimson Tide‘s first touchdown against Wisconsin Saturday, connecting with quarterback Jalen Milroe on a 31-yard score.
Williams beat Wisconsin cornerback RJ Delancy in a one-on-one assignment easily on a go route along the sideline, snagging the Milroe pass in stride two steps ahead of the defender.
In the first quarter against Wisconsin, Williams had two catches for 30 yards on two targets.
