TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) – The Washburn Rural girls golf team clinched the 2024 Topeka City Championship title on Monday.
The Junior Blues won by ten strokes, scoring a 326.
Natalie Peterson won the individual title, shooting a 77. Reece Randall followed in 2nd place with a 78.
Two more Junior Blues finished in the Top-10, as Kailyn Petersen and Lauren Cox finished T-6th with an 84, and 8th with an 87, respectively.
Hayden finished 2nd with a 336. Addyson Baer scored an 80 to finished 3rd individually, and Izzy Glotzbach finished 4th with an 81. Lauren Borjon also finished T-6th with an 84.
Seaman took 3rd with a score of 389. Makenna Stuke finished T-9th (88) for the Vikings.
Emporia’s Elise Eckert finished 5th individually with an 82, and Topeka West’s Alex Baxter placed T-9th with an 88.

BISMARCK, N.D. (KFYR) - The WDA region championship took place on Monday afternoon at Prairie West Golf Course with more than 60 girls golfers competing. Minot
