The Bulldogs (8-0) captured their first NJIC playoff title with a 21-12 win over Glen Rock in the ninth annual final. PJ Coffey scored on a 50-yard run for a 7-3 lead, and he scored on a 50-yard pass from David Smith to extend the margin to 14-6. Smith ran for the clinching TD late in the fourth.
The 56-35 win over Fair Lawn in the SFC Ivy Division semifinals marked the most points either school in this co-op program has scored since 2002. Jason Marasciulo threw four TD passes, including two to Eddie Schaeffer, and Schaeffer ran for two third-quarter scores to help CP/R (8-0) pull away.

The Knights (6-2) equaled the number of wins of the last three years combined thanks to a 23-9 win over Pompton Lakes. The defense was exceptional: Jake Johnson and Luis Placido returned first-half interceptions for a Pick Six, and Kris Dunne and Amare Tinker combined on a sack for a safety.
